No marketing hedging. If the answer is "one device", we write "one device". Anything not covered below, send to the desk from the contact page and we will add it here.
Internet Protocol Television delivers broadcast programming to your screen down your existing broadband line rather than from a satellite dish or a coaxial cable. The receiver is an app; the aerial is your router. Connect a device to your home internet, sign in once, and international programming opens without any hardware bolted to the outside of the building.
A dish needs a clear line of sight to a southern sky, a technician, and usually a landlord's blessing. None of that applies here. If you live in an apartment, a basement suite, a north-facing unit or a building with a no-dish policy, satellite is simply off the table — and IPTV is not. The picture is generally sharper too, because a single requested stream is not competing for bandwidth with two hundred channels you are not watching.
Two things only:
Run a speed test two or three times across a single day — once in the morning, once around 8 p.m. when your whole neighbourhood is streaming, and once late. The evening figure is the one that matters, because that is when you will actually be watching. If the evening result holds above 15 Mbps down you will have no trouble with Full HD.
It is arguably the best case for it. There is nothing to mount, nothing to drill and nobody to ask. Anywhere you can load a web page at a sensible speed, the line works — including student residences, rented condos and short-term places where installing hardware would never be permitted.
One. A single subscription authorises one simultaneous stream through IBO Player. You can move that stream between devices — living room television during the week, tablet at the cottage on the weekend — but not run two at once. A second screen in the same house needs a second subscription, at the same rates shown on the packages page.
IBO Player, exclusively. We do not support, troubleshoot or supply credentials for any other player. It is the only app our setup documentation covers, and the installation guide walks through every supported platform step by step.
Typically minutes. Once your payment clears, a single welcome email arrives carrying your playlist credentials and your device pairing details. Most subscribers are watching within ten minutes of that message landing.
Yes — seven days of electronic programme guide data, populated across the line-up. You can browse what is on tonight and what is on next Thursday without leaving the player.
It stops. Nothing renews automatically, we keep no card on file, and no silent charge appears on your statement. We send one reminder before the end date and you decide from there. The full position is written out on the refund policy page.
Within Canada, yes — there is no IP lock on the account, so a line bought in Winnipeg behaves identically in Halifax or Victoria. Outside the country, availability depends on the local network and on the rights attached to individual feeds, so we cannot promise every channel travels.
Tell us. Feeds do occasionally drop when a distributor changes something upstream, and the fastest fix starts with someone reporting it. Message the desk through the contact page with the channel name and we will either restore it or tell you honestly that it has gone.
The entry plan exists precisely for this. CA$10.99 opens the complete product for thirty days on your own connection, in your own living room, during the hours you actually watch — which tells you far more than any page of ours can. Details are on the entry plan page, and the packages page shows what comes after it.
If your hesitation is technical rather than commercial, the installation guide shows exactly what the first ten minutes look like on every supported device.
Pick a length on the packages page or jump straight to the entry plan. Either way your line is live the same day.
